  • Shalwar Kameez: Everyone looks good in Shalwar Kameez. Widely worn in Pakistan and Afghanistan as well as in India, this dress is very famous and most commonly worn in India. The shirt is worn with either a choori dar pajama or a shalwar and is accompanied by a dupatta. Shalwar Kameez is a north Indian dress.
  • Churidar Pajamas suit best if you have skinny legs. If you are heavy built, you might wish to wear a shalwar instead. Similarly, heavy weight women should avoid belts and frills on their kameez.   • Gagra Choli or Lehnga Choli is the dress from Gujrat and Rajasthan. Mostly worn during wedding ceremonies, this Indian dress is heavily embroidered and is very fancy to wear. The blouse of ghagra choli should fit you perfectly. A fishnet ghagra is worn by slim and smart girls with a great mermaid figure. Girls can also wear a blouse with a simple knot behind to expose their beautiful back.

While buying Indian Saris, the main thing to keep in mind is your physique, body type and body color. Every overweight women want to look slim, glamorous and beautiful. Indian saris can make you look all that and more if you follow these handy tips before buying them.

  • If you are thin built, try going for tissue and tussar saris or cotton and organza. Similarly, if you have toned arms, wear a sleeveless blouse.
