DIY: Get The Hollywood Glamour Look
Every girl has a desire to know the trick to have a modern Hollywood look , to have perfect contoured skin, voluminous eye lashes and luscious lips.
We show you how to create a modern Hollywood look that will give you perfectly contoured skin, voluminous lips and a modern smoky eye with a pop of colour.
With awards season bringing back the glitter this year, Max Factor Australia head makeup artist, Liz Kelsh, has shared with us how to create a red-carpet Hollywood look. Bold eyes, pale glossy lips and a bronzed and a glowing complexion are essential.
The Base
Use a brush to apply foundation, starting in the t-zone and then blending outwards towards the hairline with fingertips. Follow with concealer under the eyes in a triangle shape to highlight and use fingertips to blend well. Dust with translucent powder over the t-zone using big strokes to set the foundation and create a flawless finish.

The Eyeshadow
Use a brush to apply a pale eye shadow as a highlighter to the cheekbones and brow bone to accentuate the high points of the face. Use your fingers to pat on a shimmery, black cream shadow to create a cream base and then use a brush to sweep a black powder eye shadow over the top to create an intense, dark smoky look.

The Eyeliner
Apply a kohl black pencil to line the upper and lower lashes, then use a brush to smudge along the lash line creating high impact definition around the eyes.
A Pop of Colour
Use your fingers to dab a bold blue shadow right in the centre of the eyelids to add a pop of blue to this smoky eye look. Focusing on the tips of the lashes, apply mascara to give this strong eye look a maximum impact. Finish the eye look with a dab of a shimmery copper to the inner corners of the eyes to make the centre of the eyes pop.

The Lips
Apply a nude lip liner to the outside of the lips to create a voluminous effect. Use a brush to sweep a brown toned nude lipstick across the lips, then add a gloss to the centre to make the lips look even fuller.
The Blush
To finish, add some colour to the cheeks by sweeping a luminous blush on the apples of the cheeks and blending out towards the temples.
