Kate Middleton Birthday: Celebrate with 12 Top Looks
It’s time to crack open the (non alcoholic) bubbly and put the candles on the cake – Kate Middleton celebrates her 33rd birthday today. While Clarence House have confirmed that pregnant Kate is marking the big day by having a quiet celebration with her family, we hope Prince William and baby George have remembered to pop to L.K. Bennett to get her some gifts.
The Duchess is taking full advantage of a bit of time off before her 2015 royal engagements begin on January 15. Kate will visit Barlby Primary School in London before attending an event hosted by the Fostering Network the following day.
And then it’s on to more baby preparation as she is due to give birth in April 2015 to her second child. To mark her special day we have rounded up her 12 top looks from the past year. For the Christmas Day service at Sandringham Church, Kate chose a tweed coat from British brand Moloh’s A/W 2013 collection. She finished the festive look with a brown hat.
The Duchess dazzles in a £2,000 silk, midnight blue Jenny Packham gown for the St Andrews University 600th anniversary dinner in New York. It is the third time Kate has worn the dress.
Kate arrives in the Big Apple wearing the Marina coat by Seraphine Maternity, which features a boucle textured print and high scoop neckline. She finished the look with a pair of black suede shoe-boots.
Kate wore a red Katherine Hooker dress to attend the launch of East Anglia’s Children’s Hospices appeal. She pulled her brunette locks into a chic undo.

It’s smiles all round as Kate chats to Simon Cowell and One Direction hunk Harry Styles at the Royal Variety Performance in London. The Duchess chose a floor-length, black, lace evening gown by Diane Von Furstenberg, which showed off a very slight bump.
Kate attended an Action On Addiction gala dinner in a knee-length black dress with sheer panels by Temperley London.
The Duchess chose a blue L.K. Bennett dress as she planted a ceramic poppy in the Tower of London’s WWI Centenary installation.
Kate and William take Prince George to the Sensational Butterflies exhibition at the Natural History Museum for his first birthday. The Duchess stuns in a silk floral tea dress by British designer Suzannah.
Kate opted for this military-inspired blouse and pencil skirt by Alexander McQueen as she attended the re-opening of Bletchley Park. She first showcased this ensemble during a tour of Birmingham in August 2011.
The Duchess first wore this Alexander McQueen dress to St Paul’s Jubilee Service in 2012. She decided to recycle the glamorous look for a Buckingham Palace garden party earlier this year, teaming the cream lace dress with a Jane Taylor hat, nude heels and a Russell & Bromley clutch.

MC K-Mid and DJ Wills hit the decks! The pair were given a music lesson while visiting a youth community centre. Kate wore a pale pink wool suit by Alexander McQueen and nude stiletto pumps.
For a busy day at the Royal Australian Air Force Base in Amberley, Kate chose this blue poppy-dappled dress by British high street favourite, L.K. Bennett. She finished the outfit with sapphire and diamond drop earrings and a necklace by Mappin & Webb.
