Bollywood Celebrities Salute R-Day Parade, feel proud
Bollywood celebrities, who are often known to interact with fans via social networking sites, took to Twitter to wish everyone on the occasion of Republic Day. On the country’s 66th Republic Day Monday, a host of film celebrities not just recounted their memories of watching the annual parade but also tuned into the colourful showcase of India’s culture, and expressed pride.

On this special day, several of them wished that peace and unity prevails in the country and around the world always. The day saw US President Barack Obama and his wife Michelle share the podium with Indian President Pranab Mukherjee and Prime Minister Narendra Modi at the Republic Day parade in Delhi.

Celebrated names of the film industry including megastar Amitabh Bachchan, Sonakshi Sinha, Shah Rukh Khan, Arjun Rampal, Sophie Choudhry, Vir Das and Madhur Bhandarkar have conveyed their Republic Day messages via Twitter.
