Doe-eyed Beauty Shilpa Shetty was the showstopper for Hyderabad based Divya Reddy’s contemporary bridal collection “ALLURE” on the final day at the Lakme Fashion Week W|F 2015. The stunning actress looked like a damsel in the vibrant Divya Reddy outfit.

The collection name ‘Allure’ represented the quality of being powerfully and mysteriously attractive. It was a conglomerate of soft, feminine, sensual and romantic outfits for the contemporary bride. For her very first time at Lakme she used pearls to portray Hyderabad’s royalty.

Divya Reddy’s collection was all about colors and details that speak of love.  Everything from the detailed and intricate embroidery to an array of pastel colors including light gold touches were put together to make every woman feel like the queen that she deserves to be on her wedding day.

Divya Reddy had created a brilliant juxtapose of gorgeous handlooms in modern cuts with exquisite needlework that creates stunning silhouettes for the enthused bride and her loved ones. The best part about this romantic collection was that it made elegance and style affordable for the bride of today.

The lovely designer says “Style is not what you buy with a million bucks; it is what that makes you walk like a million bucks. I have worked around this concept for my collection. This was my first year at Lakme and it was an inexplicable journey.

It was a line of fresh party and bridal outfits that were in line with the designer’s aesthetic sense. The subtlety of pastel tones, the intricate beauty of embroidery work and the edginess of modern cuts were the features that stood out the most in this collection.
