Giggles At The All New Sassy Spoon, Bandra

The Sassy Spoon, Bandra is back with a lot more sass. The restaurant’s philosophy has always been delicious food peppered with sass. In order to give their close friends a more ‘Sassy experience‘, Rachel Goenka and Parikshaat Wadhwani co-hosted an intimate evening themed ‘Gossip and Giggles’ with dinner and cocktails  on 19th October at the revamped restaurant.


The Sassy team made sure guests present such as Nishka Lulla, Sameer Dattani, Zarir Warden, Ashiesh Chaudhary, Nimish Shah, Tanaz Bhatia, Nachiket Barve and others were well taken care off.

The restaurant has revamped its interiors and menu with quirky bar bites, innovative mains, weekday specials and has also introduced, Asian and Indian cuisines, both vegetarian and non-vegetarian,  along with an all new exciting selection of cocktails and mocktails.


 The guests were seen sipping on exciting concoctions including Indus Gimlet (Chaat masala, lime & gin), Jack & Ginger (uses smoked ginger syrup) and Morning Brew (whisky and espresso); breezy fruit based cocktails such as Spiked Very Berry Khatta, Sassy Margaritas, and an unusual Banana Mojito along with lots of flavored beers.


Everyone was seen enjoying the new bar bites menu boasting some wacky yet delicious selection of tidbits like Deep fried sweet corn with soy chili dip, loaded potato skins, Tenderloin jerky with coriander seeds and lemon, spicy cherry tomato and chili dip, Srilankan spiced chicken poi, Murtabak with a chicken rendang stuffing– A Sassy version of the baida roti to name a few.


Scrumptious mains included Tagine of grilled veggies, Caramelized onion and pumpkin tart with goat cheese fondue, Peanut crusted rawas on a bed of pak choy, Coconut prawns with appam, Mushroom tortellini with a porcini cream sauce and BBQ Pork Ribs , were relished by all.


Famous for its signature desserts, the meal ended on a sweet note with guests indulging in Sticky Toffee Pudding, Sassy Stacks, Caramel & Peanut Tart and assorted ice creams like red velvet, honey mascarpone, raspberry sorbet.
